How To Stay on the Program (When You Don’t Feel Like It)

I’m going to tell you a few pointers that will help you stay on thhe straight and narrow.Occasionally I’ve been in the same place where many of you are: wanting to sleep rather than exercise. You have to stay consistant if you’re going to lose 20 pounds.
It’s hard to leave everything during a busy work day to go to the fitness center or run the stairs.It’s when you’re all stressed out that you need to get a break for exercise whenever possible.
When the day’s over, the last thing you want to do is lift weights after storytime.That is a very familiar story.
We all need methods that will compel us to workout when we’re dead set against it.
I try to keep in mind how much better I’ll feel once the workout is over.Additionally, you will always feel better knowing that you honored your obligation to yourself. You can share your experiences in the weight loss forum.
It’s awful to skip a workout knowing that you’ve betrayed your goals and your health.On top of that others are looking for signs of weakness in my lifestyle.
I don’t believe there’s any room for rationalizing failure to exercise.

Don’t buy junk food. Shop from a list. If you don’t have junk food at home you won’t eat it.
Treat yourself at least once a week to the foods you really like. That will help you avoid binging with cravings. When you treat, don’t go to extremes.
Trick yourself into being satisfied with less by using a smaller plate. (Not only are you tricking yourself, even if the trick doesn’t work it’s easier to stop eating when the plate is empty and there’s no more food available.)

Stay well away from fad diets. They starve you and then you eat more when the diet is over.

Measure your food. If you have junk food be careful to measure and control the portion. (Portion control is a big part of a healthy diet. Most restaurants and even people at home serve portions that are too large.)
Try jumping in front of a moving train. You’ll wake up from the coma a slimmer you. (Another bad idea. It’s best to stick to ways to lose weight while remaining healthy. After all, the target goal is improved health.)
Stick to something long enough to repeat it a few times, then you can coast. (It’s said that if we repeat a thing 21 times it becomes a habit. Sometimes the number is different, but the idea is the same. Will power is only necessary to repeat something enough times for it to become).
Eat slower. The body doesn’t feel full as fast as you can eat, so people tend to eat beyond full.
These are all great tips from regular people just like us. Most of them also happen to be common advice given by experts in safe weight loss. So ways to lose weight fast do exist, and they’re not something only professionals can know.
